Code of Ways

Our deeds, within the Tradition,
to ourselves and between one another,
even those outside the pale,
are swayed by the pursuit of Principles.

It compels us to behave
with truth, honor, and integrity.

We define this code to remind and guide us to act in a manner that is honorable, ethical, and peaceful. It is directed not only at managing our own actions but also how we interact with those within and outside of the tradition.

We conduct ourselves according to ethics and reason.
We are accountable to ourselves, each other, and Nature.

We are kith and kin, within and out of our tradition, and treat each other as we wish to be treated.
We accept the freedom, choices, and privacy of each individual.

We express our tradition in its entirety.
We implement it as the basis of our practice and our way of life.

We abide by the Athiccan Rede.
We are mindful to raise what helps and repel what harms.

We strive to always act with integrity, discipline, and respect.
We must make these evident in the practices and representation of our tradition.

We are autonomous and sovereign in the practice of our tradition.
We hereto accept the incurred responsibilities of our acts.

We consider principles before egos.
We place Nature and the greater good above and before the individual.

We honor our ancestors and guide our successors.
We recognize those who came before us and mind the edicts of our predecessors. We assist and support those who come after us.

We recognize any person who adheres to all Athicca tenets as a member of the tradition.
We do not permit discrimination on any other basis.

We do not proselytize.
We will, however, share our tradition and our ways with anyone who comes to us honestly and openly.

We do not accept contributions or bestowments that undermine the independence of our tradition.
We avoid actions that unduly influence other traditions or beliefs.

We do not profit through our magickal workings.
We offer support and assistance without expectation of payment.

We recognize the ever-changing ways of Nature.
We embrace that we, and our tradition, are dynamic and always evolving.
