Athicca Tradition

- - - - -

We are Athiccans.

We walk in fields and forests, by creeks and oceans.
We climb mountains high and dive waters deep.

We breathe in the mystical light and calming dark.
We exhale gratitude and harmony.

Our solitary hearts beat in rhythm with community.

We feel what we sense and empower what we dream.
We rise to the challenges of life,
deciding our own fates.

As Athiccans, we embrace a pagan tradition of living in mutual harmony with Nature. We express our tradition within personal practices of magick and witchcraft as the means to interact with Nature and enact our intentions. It is through these experiences that we increase our awareness, seek understanding, and bring purpose and significance into our lives.

We accept Nature to be the universal commonality - the basic precept that all things are manifestations of the same underlying energies and forces. Our practices are centered on our own power, drawn from Nature, rather than any specific theistic pantheon. By shaping our individual connections to the commonality, we affect the entirety of Nature and impact our shared existence.

The Athicca tradition envelops the principles, methods, and correspondences that define our practice of witchcraft and govern our use of magick. It is what makes sense to us as we work to forge our bond with Nature and better ourselves. We understand this tradition will not work for everyone, but we will embrace anyone who feels the same connection as we do.
